Managing Director
Marc, founder and Managing Director of Heilbron Hospitality, has more than 30 years experience in the butler profession. He studied in The Netherlands where he graduated Cum Laude at The International Butler Academy. He later became Director–Senior Butler Instructor at that Academy. As a qualified Butler Trainer, he trains all over the world. He understands and respects the advantages of working with local staff and people from different backgrounds. His clients include 5 star hotels and resorts, Boards of Directors, Private Game Reserves, Private Families, high-profile personalities and Dutch Royal Houses. Marc is one of the founding members of The Alliance of Professional Butler Trainers©️, an internationally recognised organisation of top butler training schools, guaranteeing both clients and students the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
Stewart
Director
Stewart, was born in Johannesburg and lived in Europe most of his life. He is the Director and co-founder of Heilbron Hospitality. He acquired vast experience in guest relations and guest service working for the Intercontinental Hotel Group and Booking.Com as Guest Relations Supervisor EMEA and Marketing Manager for CBE in The Netherlands. Parallel to this, Martial Arts and Wellness have played an integral part in his life. In 2003 he opened his own wellness and body therapy centre in Amsterdam. A dedicated practitioner of Tai Chi Chuan, he is also a professional and certified Mindfulness Trainer and conducts his sessions within the framework of Heilbron Hospitality’s trainings.
Patience
Trainer
Patience’s superb training skills are exceeded only by her vibrant personality. She has spent two decades in the corporate sector providing training in Soft Skills and Personal Development. In the USA she taught at Training Resources of America. Combining her experience with continued study in Psychology, she brings awareness to human dynamics in the workplace, focusing on personal development for operational success. Her core values are Integrity, Joy, Presence, Awareness and (inner) Attunement, all directed at the empowerment of the people she works with.
Kim
Senior Butler Instructor
Kim is Senior Butler Instructor for Heilbron Hospitality and is responsible for the training and development of Technical Skills. She is a top accredited trainer in the Super Yacht Industry and graduate of the intensive Technical Skills Training at The Crew Academy in Golfe Juan, France. Kim has worked with the very best in the world creating bespoke courses for her clients, training Butlers, Stewards and Hosts to the highest level in Technical Skills & Personalised Service in the five star luxury environment. Together with a fluency in a number of foreign languages and excellent inter-personal skills, her trainings have taken her all over the globe.
Frank
Trainer
Frank, (Harare, 1971), joined Luxury Hotel and Spa Management (Zurich) in 2004 as Director of Learning & Development, developing his own Butler Training curriculum and material. In 2011 Frank was appointed Property Training Manager in the Maldives. Training participants from 22 nationalities helped him develop the best practices for overcoming language barriers and cultural sensitivities to achieve set outcomes (Management and Development Programme). After six years in the Maldives, Frank took a position in Saudi Arabia where he was responsible for country-wide training for a large hospitality group. Apart from training, he developed policy related to in-house and out-sourced training, guidelines for trainer recognition and a programme to identify and develop high-potential individuals. In 2018, Frank completed his Certified Hospitality Trainer qualification through the American Hotel and Lodging Education Institute (AHLEF).
Wendy
Trainer
Wendy is from The Netherlands and was fascinated from a young age with people and their behaviours. She studied social work at university and received her master’s degree in 2000. She is also a trained actress and went to theatre school where she learned to use the art of drama to help people gain awareness of oneself and one’s interaction with others. From then on, she continued learning about personal growth, for herself and to help others, with the emphasis on developing high impact on Self Leadership, Intuitive and Communication tools, and Leadership Skills to create sustainable change in oneself and one’s actions. She has a diploma in Voice Dialogue Coaching, Systemic Work (constellations) and Body Work.

Heilbron Hospitality is a member of FEDHASA, the Federated Hospitality Association of Southern Africa.
