Marc van Bergen
Marc offers his clients exceptional service and the highest quality of assistance, delivered with a sense of warmth and individual pride. His values and loyalty are an integral part of his work. He studied in The Netherlands where he graduated Cum Laude at The International Butler Academy where he later became a Director and Senior Butler Instructor. His clients have included private families, companies, Boards of Directors and the Dutch and Saudi Royal Families. As well as being a professional Butler and Household Manager, Marc van Bergen is a highly qualified butler trainer. Since 2006, he has been training all over the world. He understands and respects the advantages of working with local staff. For this reason, he followed a master class in South Africa specifically targeted at training local staff. Marc is a member of The International Guild of Professional Butlers.
Stewart was born in Johannesburg and lived in Europe most of his life. He acquired vast experience in customer service working for Holiday Inn Hotels and the Intercontinental Hotel Group as Guest Relations Team Leader and Marketing Manager for CBE in The Netherlands. Parallel to this, martial arts and wellness have played a large part in his life. In 2003 he opened his own wellness and body therapy centre in Amsterdam. A dedicated practitioner of Tai Chi Chuan, he is also a certified Mindfulness Trainer and conducts his sessions within the framework of Heilbron Hospitality’s trainings.
Willemien is a proud Capetonian. She is an exceptional facilitator and trainer, skilled in employee development, communication, team building and emotional regulation. She has been involved in training and Human Resources since 1990, servicing corporate giants such as Anglo American where she helped build stronger leaders and more effective teams. She believes that training is the only way to create and sustain successful and productive lives.
Pat’s superb training skills are only exceeded by her vibrant personality. She has spent two decades in the corporate sector providing training in Soft Skills and Personal Development. In the USA she taught at Training Resources of America. Combining her experience with continued study in Psychology, she brings awareness to human dynamics in the workplace, focusing on personal development for operational success.
Cornelis was born in The Netherlands and has more than 20 years experience as a professional Butler and Butler Trainer. He graduated at The International Butler Academy (TIBA) in The Netherlands where he worked as Head Butler and Senior Instructor of the faculty. His career ranges from working for various private families and corporate clients to hotels and resorts. Over the years, he has invested time and energy making the butler profession his passion, particularly when it comes to personalised service. He works worldwide with professionals in the industry to achieve the highest level of expertise by combining education and practical experiences. Cornelis is responsible for the training and development of Technical Skills.
Anton van Deventer
A highly experienced butler of the ‘old-school’ with many years of experience, Anton is a master craftsman with some modern tricks learned along the way. He has worked mainly in the domestic arena, including some royal palace experience. He is an instructor par excellence in both the formal classroom set-up as well as on-site in hotels, guest houses and lodges. A most dedicated gentleman with perfect ethos and a vast knowledge of wine.
Horst was born in Bad Honnef, Germany, and has more than 22 years experience as Butler, House Manager and PA, responsible for the supervision of a number of estates simultaneously in Germany and Switzerland. He also managed a guesthouse on Ile de la Reunion near Mauritius. Together with his years of experience and graduation from The International Butler Academy, Horst has become a respected trainer. He is based in his home country and trains for Heilbron Hospitality mostly in Europe and The Middle East.
Zelda was born on the West Coast but is a Cape Townian at heart. She is knowledgeable, professional and always ready to find the answers to your questions and solutions in any situation. Zelda is specialised in Property Management and is also responsible for Maintenance Coordination and Accounting as well as running the office day to day. She is an accomplished banking professional with over 35 years experience in the industry and welcomes the opportunity to assist you with all your business and office requirements.
Janice, born in Durban, 1984, is responsible for the administrative operations of our office in Cape Town and assists our trainers and staff. She has more than six years of corporate administrative experience, and is currently pursuing her degree in Business Management.
